May 23 – The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has signed a two-year deal with the Turkish logistics company Surat Kargo, to become a sponsor of the men’s national team of Turkey.
Surat Kargo is already a sponsor of the Turkish women’s national teams in a deal that was signed last July.
No value for the new deal was given.
The contract signing ceremony between TFF and Surat Kargo, ahead of the 2024 Euros, was attended by Mehmet Buyukeksi, the president of the Turkish Football Federation, Cem Oguz, Surat Kargo General Manager, and national team coach Vincenzo Montella.
“As you know, I underline this with every new launch: We do not see our sponsors as sponsors. They are our business and solution partners. It is very valuable and meaningful for Surat Kargo to sponsor Turkish football, which is on the rise in the FIFA and UEFA rankings,” said Buyukeksi.
Sürat Kargo’s Cem Oguz said that, as a company, they attach great importance to supporting sports and athletes. Reminding that they are the main sponsor of the Women’s National Football Teams last year, and this year have added Samsunspor’s official transportation sponsor.
“This time, we are excited to support the Men’s National Football Team before EURO 2024,” said Oguz, who emphased the importance of Euro qualification for the country, its third successive Euro finals tournament.
“This is a very important indicator of stability in our opinion… As you know, our National Team went through a long and difficult qualifying process and finally qualified to participate in the championship. We are in this meeting today and now we are going to Europe, towards EURO 2024. We achieved this success with the determination and determination of the Turkish nation and their never-giving-up belief. In fact, when I look at it this way, I see that we, as Surat Cargo, have experienced the same things, we have gone through difficult times, but we never give up. We did not, and today we have the capacity to process 1 million cargoes. Speed is also our strength. We see similarities between them and our company in terms of not giving up and constantly striving for success.”
“The fact that such an important company supports us strengthens us and deserves our thanks,” said Turkish coach Vincenzo Montella.
“We are very excited about the approach of the European Championship. We are extremely ready. We know that we will do the best within our means. We know that we will find support. We are a young team, the youngest among the participants. When young people are on the field, it is important to play a game that is joyful and without pressure, of course, thank you very much for the trust placed in us.”
