May 30 – AS Monaco have extended their partnership with Bang & Olufsen as part of a deal that will see the Danish audio brand retain its status as the club’s upper back of shirt sponsor until 2026.
Also included in the deal, Bang & Olufsen will continue to benefit from ‘significant visibility’ at the Stade Louis-II, on the club’s official signage, and across communication platforms.
Having originally struck a deal just last summer, the brand are eager to capitalise on the club’s newfound UCL status with a long-term extension.
“We are delighted to see Bang & Olufsen’s long-term commitment to us. After this first year of fruitful collaboration, it was natural to continue the adventure together” says Thibaut Chatelard, AS Monaco Marketing & Revenue Director. “As we celebrate the centenary of the club in a few months, we are delighted to share this occasion with the support of a partner with whom we share the same quest for excellence in our respective fields.”
“Working with the team at AS Monaco has been an absolute pleasure, and we are very much looking forward to further collaboration in the years to come” says Elen Barnes, acting Chief Marketing Officer, Bang & Olufsen. “In this period as partners, both AS Monaco and Bang & Olufsen will celebrate 100th year anniversaries, which will be a very special and unique time for both brands.”
Finishing Ligue 1 in second place behind the Paris St Germain, AS Monaco are set for a return to the Champions League for the first time since the 2018/19 season, but haven’t made it out the group stage since Kylian Mbappe’s last season on the south coast in 2016/17 ahead of his €180 million move to Paris.
