AS Monaco partner with fast growing e-commerce platform ComAve

June 4 – Ligue1 side AS Monaco has announced a new partnership with e-commerce platform ComAve as the Monegasques look to strengthen fan engagement in the new season.

The partnership will see ComAve become the club’s official e-commerce platform as AS Monaco move to build on its 25 million-strong digital fan base.

ComAve will also partner with AC Milan, Atletico Madrid and AFC Bournemouth for the new season.

Due to the remote location and luxury reputation of the Monaco region, it makes sense as to why the club’s digital strategy has taken a seat of priority as they look to capitalise on foreign markets.

The value and length of deal remains undisclosed.

Jassim Sulaiti, regional managing partner of ComAve, said: “We are honoured to be working with AS Monaco, a club with a rich history and a passionate fan base. Our aim is to offer Monaco fans unrivalled experiences and exclusive rewards. This partnership marks an important step in our mission to create a global community of sports fans, where every interaction is valued and every fan is at the heart of the action.”

Thibaut Chatelard, AS Monaco marketing & revenue director, said: “We are delighted to welcome ComAve to the family of AS Monaco partners and to be the first Ligue 1 club to be associated with this e-commerce platform, whose development in the world of football is booming.

“We share the same ambition to adopt an innovative approach in our respective activities, particularly in the digital arena. That’s why we’re looking forward to this collaboration and to offering our fans new and unique experiences.”

Adi Hutter’s side are poised for a return to the UEFA Champions League next season after a seven-year hiatus thanks to finishing second in Ligue1, nine points adrift of champions PSG, to mark an impressive end to the Austrian’s first season in charge.

With perennial goalscorer (and ex-player) Kylian Mbappe on his way to Madrid, next season presents a clear shot at reclaiming the Ligue1 title – the first since Mbappe left the club in 2017.
