June 10 – The Romanian Football Federation (FRF) is the first national association to sign a partnership agreement with Modex and FIFA Collect platform.
FIFA Collect is a platform launched by FIFA in collaboration with Modex that allows users to buy, sell and trade football-related digital collections.
Using blockchain technology, FIFA Collect gives fans around the world access to iconic moments, players, teams and other unique collectibles. Every item on the platform is an NFT (Non-Fungible Token), ensuring the authenticity and uniqueness of each collectible.
“The Romanian Football Federation proudly announces a new innovative partnership with Modex and FIFA, with the aim of integrating exclusive products and benefits for supporters of the Romanian National Team on the FIFA Collect platform,” said a federation announcement.
FRF President Răzvan Burleanu said: “This new platform will allow Romanian fans — and fans around the world — to access exclusive content and unique experiences like never before, bringing them even closer to the National Team.”
