Inter sponsorships flying as Qatar Airways upgrade to training kit

July 11 – Italian champions Inter Milan have upgraded their partnership with Qatar airways which will see the brand become the club’s Official Main Training Kit Partner on top of being the club’s Official Airline Partner.

The value and length of the new deal remains undisclosed.

The club haven’t been shy to switch sponsorships since breaking ties with long-term partner Pirelli in 2021 and have been very active in penning new deals ahead of the new season. The Serie A champions sealed a record-breaking front of shirt deal with Betsson Sport last week before the Qatar announcement this.

“We are thrilled to announce this upgraded partnership with Qatar Airways, which is a reflection of how successful our relationship was last season,” said FC Internazionale Milano Corporate CEO Alessandro Antonello.

“During our first year together, Qatar Airways became fully integrated within the Inter family, sharing the joy of our Scudetto triumph and running a series of unique initiatives for our fans.

“As our Official Main Training Kit Partner, Qatar Airways will now become an even more integral part of our club, accompanying our players in every training session and enjoying global visibility during the team’s pre-match warm-ups. We hope to be able to achieve new and exciting goals with Qatar Airways.”

In addition to Qatar Airways appearing on the front of the shirt, the 2024/25 training kit sees BPER make its debut as Official Training Kit Sleeve Partner, while KONAMI remains as Training Kit Back Partner, a role held since July 2022.

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, said: “As we commemorate our deepening partnership with Inter with the new title of the Official Main Training Kit Partner, it reflects to shared successes during our first season together. We have witnessed the team achieve the status as the best team in Italy while we also took the position of the World’s Best Airline this year.
