August 9 – North Macedonian FC Shkupi has agreed a sponsorship with the Pasha Group hotel chain who will take the front of shirt logo position for the coming season.
At the signing ceremony, FC Shkupi management announced that the club would invest significant funds in the construction of a completely new training base. The money for the project will come from the new sponsor in partnership with the state.
Pasha Group sponsors both Besiktas and Fenerbahce in the Turkish Super Lig. The group also supports the Beşiktaş basketball team.
“It is a great honor for us that such a sponsor with a name like Pasha Group comes to North Macedonia’s sport. It is one of the most popular sports sponsors in Turkey… For us as a club, this is a big step and along with other projects, we plan to work together with them and with the support of the state. We already have a project, which we hope to start soon. A big and significant project not only for FC Shkupi, but also for the football in North Macedonia”, said Olgun Aydin, president of FK Shkupi.
“Initially, this will be a project that will occupy 2000 square meters of land. There will be 25 rooms for football players, conference rooms, recreation, gym, kitchen, relaxation area and a complex that will serve athletes. There will be three football fields. This is a complex that will also serve the national teams of North Macedonia in the future. I would also like to thank the mayor of the Municipality of Çair, who has expressed his willingness to help since one of the fields will be built by the municipality,” he added.
