September 2 – Hummel has entered into a new four-year agreement with the Football Association of Greenland which will see the Danish sportswear brand produce and design the nation’s kits until 2028.
The move aligns with and strengthens the Football Association of Greenland (KAK)’s ambition to join CONCACAF, which would allow Greenland to participate in FIFA tournaments, following on from KAK’s formal submission of an application to become the 42nd member of Concacaf in May this year.
The deal will see Hummel take over from Italian manufacturers Macron, who have produced the Greenland kits since 2021.

Greenland is an important part of our Danish Realm, but it also stands as a strong and independent culture that we wish to celebrate and cultivate through our partnership,” said Hummel’s CEO, Lars Stentebjerg.
“With 80% of the country covered by ice caps and glaciers, Greenland represents something truly unique that you won’t find anywhere else in the world. Despite the challenging conditions for football in Greenland, the national football team remains a vital source of national unity and pride among the country’s inhabitants. We aim to incorporate this into our branding and product design to help tell the story of Greenlandic culture.”
Hummel have said they expect to unveil the new Greenlandic national team jerseys by the end of the year.
