ASUS plugged in for AC Milan sponsorship

September 6 – AC Milan have announced a new partnership with ASUS, which will see it become the club’s Official Computer Hardware Partner starting from the current season.

The partnership, whose value and duration remains undisclosed, was announced on the club’s social media, which has a combined following of over 53 million.

Maikel Oettle, chief commercial officer of AC Milan, said: “We are delighted to announce this new partnership with ASUS, a global leader in the technology sector. This collaboration brings together two globally recognized entities, both committed to ensuring excellence and reaching new milestones in their respective industries.”

The Taiwanese computer manufacturer has a market value of $12 billion.It is a leading supplier of computer motherboards and has gradually expanded its business to include the production of various high-tech products, including notebooks, of which it is now among the top manufacturers worldwide.

AC Milan have opened their Serie A season with an underwhelming two points from nine available, sandwiching a 2-1 loss to Parma with draws versus Lazio and Torino. As things stand, the first glimpse of Paulo Fonseca’s reign has left the club in 14th place in the league, whilst neighbours Inter continue where they left off, in first place.
