September 11 – Premier League side Arsenal have agreed a multi-year partnership with NTT Data which will see the company become the club’s first-ever Official Digital Transformation Partner.
The news breaks as the Gunners look to capitalise on their position as Premier League title contenders by strengthening their social media strategy.
The partnership will aim to leverage the company’s advanced digital technologies and data analytics to expand on the club’s 95 million-strong social media following.
It also focuses on deepening the connection between Arsenal and its worldwide supporters, ensuring they remain engaged and connected with the club, no matter where they are.
NTT Data have a history of working with partners in sport, having built relationships with The Open (golf) and Indycar, though this does mark their first business venture into the Premier League.
Juliet Slot, Chief Commercial Officer at Arsenal, said: “We’re excited to welcome NTT DATA as our first Official Digital Transformation Partner. Our ambition is to strengthen our connection with our supporters around the world so that we can serve them better. Enhancing our digital capabilities is an essential part of this journey where through service and connection to supporters we are able to drive forward our performance and our growth.”
