November 13 – Premier League Matchday 11 delivered another strong turnout, continuing the season’s upward trend in stadium attendance. Fans across the board packed the stands, setting a new bar for percentage-capacity attendance figures outside of the season opener.
Leading the week’s figures, West Ham reported the highest percent-capacity attendance, with Manchester United and Brighton both joining the Hammers in exceeding the 99% mark. This matchday also saw the fewest empty seats recorded since opening weekend.
Manchester United’s post-Ten Hag era has proved to be fruitful both on and off the pitch, as the Red Devils’ 3-0 win over Leicester was witnessed by yet another 99% capacity crowd. Since United sacked the Dutchman, their attendance has become one of the strongest in the league despite Old Trafford’s 74,310-strong capacity.
With strong attendance at all clubs and no notable outliers, Matchday 11 has emerged as the most successful in terms of capacity fill rates since the season began.
Nottingham Forest continued their impressive attendance jump, no doubt fuelled by their place in the upper echelons of the Premier League table, despite the humbling loss at the hands of Newcastle this weekend.
