December 3 – AS Monaco and the Monaco Government Tourist and Convention Authority have extended their partnership, with the Visit Monaco brand now set to feature on the kits of the club’s Academy teams.
The renewal builds on the existing collaboration that began with the Visit Monaco logo appearing on the first team’s jerseys at the start of the 2023/24 season.
The expanded partnership will see the logo displayed on the kits of AS Monaco’s Academy teams, including the Elite Group, U19, and U17 squads, during domestic and international competitions including the UEFA Youth League and Premier League International Cup. This arrangement will continue through to the end of the 2024/25 season.
As part of the agreement, AS Monaco and the Tourist Authority aim to enhance the global profile and attractiveness of Monaco as a holiday destination. Players from La Diagonale, AS Monaco’s renowned youth academy, will also participate in promotional campaigns to highlight the benefits of visiting the country.
The club and the tourist authority says the new partnership is an example of their “shared commitment to showcasing the best of Monaco through sport and global outreach”.
The Monegasques currently place third in the Ligue1 table after surrendering second place to Olympique Marseille on Sunday, losing 2-1 courtesy of a late penalty from Mason Greenwood.
Though Adi Hütter’s side have showed promise domestically, it’s the UEFA Champions League where they have really impressed. Despite the team’s 3-2 loss to Benfica last week, they still sit amongst the top eight teams on the Champions League table and, as it stands, have automatic qualification into the next round.
