December 13 – Concacaf has drawn the ties for its 27-team 2015 Champions Cup that sees 10 nations having qualified teams.
A competition that has been dominated by Mexican clubs, saw six Liga MX teams in the draw, but in a sign that the MLS is taking international competition and its opportunities increasingly seriously, there will be a record 10 teams from the US competing.
Matches kick off February 4 as two-leg knock-outs and will run through to a single-leg final on June 1.

Five teams have byes to the Round of 16 – LA Galaxy, Club América (seven times winners of the title), Columbus Crew, Alajuelense, and Cavalier FC.
The remaining 22 teams were paired off for Round One matches with the 11 winning teams going through to meet the five clubs with byes in the Round of 16.
The draw created two all-MLS ties. LAFC will meet Colorado Rapids, while Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami were drawn against Sporting Kansas City. The winner of the LAFC – Colorado Rapids tie will then face Columbus Crew from the MLS in the round of 16.

The Round of 16 will take place in March, followed by the Quarterfinals in the first half of April, the semi-finals in late April and early May, and an epic Final on Sunday, June 1.
