January 10 – French champions Paris Saint-Germain have announced a partnership with Austrian crypto platform Bitpanda.
The club said that the “partnership highlights Paris Saint-Germain as more than just a football club – a global symbol of culture, lifestyle, and sporting excellence –aligning with Bitpanda’s position as a premium financial brand redefining how people invest and connect with crypto assets.”
No value was given for the deal which covers digital activations, player involvement in content creation, and exclusive experiences for fans.
“Paris Saint-Germain is more than just a football club – it is France’s most celebrated team and a global symbol of excellence, consistency, and success,” said CEO of Bitpanda Eric Demuth.
“As the country’s most decorated club, they continue to deliver outstanding results season after season. At Bitpanda, we hold ourselves to the same high standards as we grow our presence in France and beyond. Working together with PSG represents a defining moment for Bitpanda as it cements its position as France’s premier destination for crypto assets.”
Bitpanda was established in Vienna in 2014. The company has more than 2,800 digital assets, including more than 500 crypto assets and numerous stocks, ETFs, precious metals and commodities.
Bitpanda is also the crypto trading partner of Bayern Munich and AC Milan. The Austrian company has also partnered with the NFL.
