Kroenke redefines his sports properties to leverage assets and expertise globally

January 15 – In 2007, Stan Kroenke’s KSE UK inc. purchased a 9.9% stake in Arsenal Football Club. Eleven years later, Kroenke, the owner of Arsenal Holdings plc bought the entire club.

This week, the Kroenke Sports and Entertainment (KSE) has established Kroenke Signature Properties (KSP) with the aim to redefine the club’s and KSE’s approach to global partnerships, leveraging their expansive portfolio across sports, entertainment, and media.

KSP is looking to develop opportunities for international collaborations by utilizing the extensive resources of KSE. With a group as large as Kroenke’s, the assets of the company are many and varied including teams in different sports (which include franchises in the NBA, NHL, MLS, and NFL), venues, properties, and media assets across the sports and entertainment industries.

With KSE already considered one of the world’s leading organisations in sports and entertainment, the opportunity to build connections and enhance existing partnerships is vital for continued growth.

Arsenal, as the crown jewel in this ever-expanding empire, will reap the rewards of this strategic partnership. With an established fan base that spreads far beyond the Emirates Stadium in North London, KSP will allow the club to strengthen its ability to attract premier global sponsors, tapping into the collective reach and resources of KSE’s properties.

It is thought that the creation of KSP will allow for seamless integration of their teams, venues, and media operations.

With Arsenal leading the way, the club is positioning itself as a key player in the overall strategy creating more opportunities for partnerships while enhancing the fan experience.

Whether this will help the Gunners on the pitch, only time will tell.
