February 20 – The Bulgarian Football Union’s (BFU) Disciplinary Committee has ordered Lokomotiv Plovdiv to play four matches behind closed doors and to partially close their stands for one game after their ultras attacked a match delegate last weekend.
Lokomotiv were also fined BGN 20,300 leva (€10,150) following the brutal scenes at the end of their efbet League match with Septemvri Sofia last Sunday, when Kiril Manolov was punched twice in the face.
Subsequently, the police in Plovdiv arrested two Lokomotiv fans, who were questioned and will be judged in a speedy procedure.
The BFU penalty can be appealed by the club.
