March 4 – The Dallas Cup is world-renowned as one of the premier youth boy’s tournaments on the ever-expanding playing circuit. This year organisers are taking it a step further and expanding their girl’s platform.
The 2025 edition will see over 180 girls’ teams competing across ten age groups (U10-U19), and all vying for the coveted Boot & Ball championship trophy. This addition of the girl’s youth game marks a significant milestone in the tournament’s continued efforts to elevate the visibility and competitiveness of girls’ youth soccer globally.
This year’s edition will welcome at least nine international nations, embracing the tournament motto ‘Welcome World’.
International teams in Dallas in April, will include the U17 Samoa Girls National Team, set to make their tournament debut after qualifying for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2025. The Australian School Girls also return to defend their U19 title, having made history in 2024 as the first international girls’ team to win a Dallas Cup championship. The New Zealand Secondary Schools Football Association will also send a strong squad, reinforcing the growing presence of Oceania nations in the tournament.
Professional clubs also send their teams and Germany’s Eintracht Frankfurt U-17 girls’ team will return for their fourth consecutive appearance, aiming to build upon their runner-up finish in 2024.
With Coca-Cola returning for its third year as the primary sponsor of the tournament, the Dallas Cup is now firmly established as one of the oldest and most prestigious international youth soccer tournaments in the world.
More than 100 countries have competed over its 46 years of existence, welcoming some of the giants of the game including Manchester United, Real Madrid, and players that have become household names such as David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, and Landon Donovan.
