Romanian Football Federation pens 5 to go sponsorship agreement

March 11 – The Romanian Football Federation (FRF) has signed a new sponsorship agreement with official partner 5 to go which will run until 2031.

The Romanian coffee chain has been an official partner of the FRF and the Romanian Cup since 2022. Over the next six years, 5 to go will provide coffee-based products and lemonade assortments for national team players.

The ‘5 to go’ brand was born in 2015, founded by Radu Savopal and Lucian Bădilă, and boasts 600 open operating outlets, making the company the largest coffee shop chain in Eastern Europe and the most accessed franchise in Romania.

“5 to go is an active supporter of sports and we are delighted to open, together with the Romanian Football Federation, a new chapter in the story of the brand and Romanian football,” said 5 to go founder Savopal.

“We are glad that, starting this year, the partnership is expanding, and we have the honour of being the official energy supplier for the Romanian National Football Team – not only through our coffee, but also through lemonades by 5 to go.

“Many challenges lie ahead for the tricolors, the preliminary matches for qualifying for the World Cup will soon start, an important chance to reach the USA, Mexico, and Canada.”
