April 30 – The Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) has signed a one-year sponsorship agreement with dairy company LB Bulgaricum, who become the main sponsor of the Bulgarian U21 youth team.
According to the cooperation agreement, the LB Bulgaricum logo will be placed on the training kit of Bulgaria U21 team.
The agreement was signed by the President of the Bulgarian Football Union Georgi Ivanov and the CEO of the dairy company Zhivko Zhivkov.
In addition to the logo placement, the partnership also includes digital collaboration between the two parties on all social platforms.
“The agreement with the BFU is part of our joint efforts to encourage young people in Bulgaria to lead an active lifestyle. I believe that with the healthy messages of our brand and the successes of the youth from the national football team, we will inspire the younger generations to be more active, healthier, and disciplined,” Zhivkov.
Pointing out that football is the most popular sport in Bulgaria and that Bulgaria’s greatest talents play in the youth national team, he added: “I am extremely happy that through this partnership we will be able to support their development.”
BFU President Georgi Ivanov said: “The company has established itself not only as a leading producer of quality and healthy dairy products, but also as a socially responsible company that actively supports a healthy lifestyle.”
