July 27 –Premier League Liverpool have signed Tibet Water Resources as their Official Regional Water Partner in China.
The Chinese water firm that mines glacial water from the Tibet mountains and sells via its flagship Tibet 5100 Glacial Spring Water brand throughout China and increasingly in Asia, will receive a package of marketing and promotional rights, including digital and social media support and access to players.
Tibet Water’s executive director Sunny Wong said the sponsorship positioned the company’s brands for international expansion. “This marks a major milestone in Tibet Water Resources Ltd.’s development. We are proud to be Liverpool FC’s Official Regional Water Partner in China, one of the world’s most renowned football teams with a massive fan base around the globe,” said Wong.
“The partnership with Liverpool FC will further enhance the influence and value of the water brands under Tibet Water Resources Ltd., which will pave the way for extending our footprint in the international premium mineral water market.”
The deal was signed as Liverpool completed their participation the Premier League Asia Cup in Hong Kong where they beat Leicester City 2-1 in the final. The first team are now in Germany for the next leg of their pre-season preparations and will compete in the Audi Cup against Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Napoli.

We have so many supporters here in Asia as we’ve just seen from two sold out matches last week in Hong Kong.
