April 24 – Manchester City is launching a free children’s app – Man City Kids – aimed at 6-12 year olds.
The app will be content based providing behind-the-scenes video content from the City Football Academy, games and football themed quizzes.
The app will also be the new home of Junior Cityzens, the club’s free membership for younger fans. The app will offer a series of competitions and prizes including signed shirts the chance to meet players at the Etihad Stadium.
The app is cross platform and will be available to download on smartphones and tablet via the iTunes App Store, Amazon and Google Play.
Users can also interact through in-app quizzes and polls and can play click-games featuring the Club’s official mascots, Moonbeam and Moonchester.
The app will officially launch at the Man City Kids Fan Zone taking place on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 April outside the National Football Museum in Manchester.
