July 24 – Amazon Prime Video has released a trailer for its Manchester City docu-series that will launch on the streaming service August 17.
The move to create football content docu-series by the world’s online streaming broadcast giants has seen Facebook launch its Watch platform with a Real Madrid series on the menu, while Netflix has programmed Juventus and Boca Juniors content.
All or Nothing: Manchester City is a behind-the-scenes Prime Original docuseries that journeys fans through the club’s record-breaking Premier League championship year.
Narrated by Sir Ben Kingsley, the series includes football from the training facilities at the City Football Academy, as well as interviews with coach Pep Guardiola, boardroom meetings and the stories that unfold within the lives of the players during the season.
The series is exclusive to the Prime Video app for TVs, connected devices including Fire TV, mobile devices and online at Amazon.co.uk/PrimeVideo.
