September 2 – Real Madrid have announced operating revenue of €757.3 million for the 2018/19 season, a 0.8% increase on the previous season.
While revenue only increased marginally, due to elimination in the round of 16 in the Champions League, in contrast profits rose to €53.5 million, up 23.1% from the previous. After tax profit will be €38.4 million.
These figures do not include the sale for Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus for €100 million.
For the 2019/20 year the club is budget is estimated at €822.1 million. The club said it will benefit from a boost in the new Spanish TV rights cycle and new sponsorship partners.
Real Madrid’s members will now be asked to approve the accounts at the General Assembly on September 15.
