February 18 – UEFA has issued another tender for suppliers, this time a request for IT proposals for ticketing and hospitality solutions for its major events.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) will cover the IT systems for ticketing and hospitality for UEFA EURO 2016 in France, UEFA EURO 2020 and other major UEFA events going forward.
This will include the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League finals from 2014 onwards.
Bidders will have to prove they have ticketing and/or hospitality experience. Proposals can be submitted for either of the categories on offer, or for a full package covering both.
The deadline for proposals is April 2.
Bidders have until Friday 15 March 2013 to register their intention and request a copy of the requirements (RFP). An eligibility letter can be downloaded at http://uefa.to/Ycua05.
