July 13 – Inter Milan have announced their first sleeve sponsorship with Australia-based currency broker IC Markets, an online provider of FX services and ECN trading capabilities.
The reported €10 million deal is IC Markets’ first football sponsorship and will run until the end of the 2020-21 season. The deal may be extended depending on talks on other opportunities between the two parties.
The sleeve deal almost matches the €11 million per season long term sponsor Pirelli pay for the front of short position. Inter are looking for a new main sponsor for that position. Pirelli have been the club’s main sponsor since 1995. The current deal expires in 2021.
Inter recently renewed their €16 million a year training kit sponsorship deal with owners Suning, for another two years.
Inter currently lie in fourth place in the Serie A table, two points behind second place Lazio with a game in hand, but 11 points behind league leaders Juventus with seven games left to play.
