AFC Champions League (East) quarter and semi-finals to be hosted in South Korea

August 1 – South Korea will host the quarter-final and semi-final single-leg centralised matches of the AFC Champions League 2021 (East) October 17 – 20 in Jeonju.

The centralised venue for the AFC Champions League 2021 (West) – quarter-final and semi-final single-leg matches – as well as the venue for the final “will be communicated in due course”, said the AFC, the centralised venue for the AFC Champions League 2021 (West) – quarter-final and Semi-final single-leg matches as well as the eagerly-anticipated Final will be communicated in due course.

In the round of 16 (East) reigning champions Ulsan Hyundai FC take on Japan’s Kawasaki Frontale, while South Korea’s Daegu FC, in the last 16 for the first time, will face Japan’s Nagoya Grampus.

On September 15, two-time champions Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors from South Korea meet Thailand’s BG Pathum United, who have qualified for the round of 16 for the first time.

The fourth East Round of 16 match-up is between Japan’s Cerezo Osaka and Korea Republic’s FC Pohang Steelers, the fourth team from Korea Republic to advance from the Group Stage.
