August 27 – Premier League Wolverhampton Wanderers have formed a new partnership with global payment firm AstroPay in a one-season deal, at the same time also renewing its deal with bookmaker Boyle Sports for another year.
AstroPay will bne promoted at Molineux on matchdays, including on the LED advertising boards and on mid-tier static advertising boards, as well as on the media backdrop behind pre-match and post-match interviews.
Wolves’ general manager for marketing and commercial growth, Russell Jones, said: “It is evident that AstroPay share our ambitious mindset as they push for growth across Latin America and Asia, and we believe this collaboration will be of great benefit to both partners.”
AstroPay has offices in the UK and Latin America, and over two million users, 500 merchants, and more than 200 payment methods available globally.

Doubling down
The BoyleSports renewal sees the Irish-based firm retain its designation as the official Molineux betting partner of the West Midlands club for the 2021/22 season.
This comes with a range of advertising benefits, including LED screens at the Molineux stadium, as well as in the official Wolves matchday programme and across social media channels.

BoylesSports recently added Newcastle United to its partnership roster.
