August 13 – bwin.party has added another of Europe’s leading and iconic football clubs to its sponsorship roster, signing France’s Olympique de Marseille in a three-year sponsorship deal that will see the bwin brand become OM’s official online betting and gaming partner.
Marseilles join Real Madrid, Manchester United, FC Bayern, Juventus and RSC Anderlecht in the bwin sponsorship portfolio.
Bwin’s sponsorship agreements extend beyond tradiitional ‘real estate’ on traditional club media.
The Marseilles package includes a series of fan-based initiatives including opportunities to train with the squad and travel to Champions League fixtures, integration into OM’s digital and social platforms, the development of on and off-line co-branded activities; stadium branding and; access to players for marketing campaigns.
bwin and OM also expect to develop social games and mobileapplications.
To kick the sponsorship off bwin has created a special prize draw that offers fans the opportunity to win two season tickets to all of OM’s home games for the 2013-14 season. To take part, all fans need to do is place a €5 bet that OM will finish in the top three of Ligue 1 in the 2013-14 season, from any new or existing bwin.fr account.
