October 29 – Food and grocery delivery service Talabat has become the latest sponsor of the Qatar Football Association (QFA), the governing body announced.
Talabat specialises in online food delivery and one year before Qatar stages the 2022 World Cup the service provider joins QNB, Nike, Shell and others as a sponsor of the QFA.
“It is a new partnership model with which QFA aspires to magnify the societal aspect per its growing social responsibility roles,” said QFA secretary-general
Mansoor Al Ansari. “The agreement is an opportunity to attain more success for both parties and is a wonderful opportunity for Talabat to associate with a popular brand that is QFA.”
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Sport plays a major role in the Qatar National Vision 2030,” said Talabat managing director Francisco Miguel De Sousa. “The State of Qatar has the full support from Talabat, to become a global leader in sports and bring the world together through sustainable sports development, building on our achievements to date.”
