December 12 – While the small balls of the UEFA Champions League draw have confused confusion and no-little amusement, the big ball to be used for the real match-up has been unveiled by Adidas.
The new design adidas ball will be used for the knockout rounds of this season’s competition, which will culminate in the final on 28 May in Saint Petersburg.
The design inspired by the White Nights, synonymous with St Petersburg during the summer months.
Adidas has been a UEFA partner for “several decades” and this year expanded its relationship to sponsorship of the 2024 European Football Championship as well as to official partnerships with UEFA Women’s Football from 2021-2025, covering all UEFA Women’s competitions.
