December 23 – The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Brunei Football Federation (FABD) to strengthen the ties between the two associations.
The SAFF president and his Brunei counterpart Benjiran Haji Matossin were present in Riyadh for the signing. The MoU will allow SAFF to exchange expertise and know-how with the Brunei association.
Saudi Arabia are currently on course to qualify for the 2022 World Cup with a clear lead at the top of their qualifying group.
Ranked 188th on the FIFA world ranking, Brunei have never even qualified for the Asian Cup.
