Leeds Astonish with vegan-approved, cruelty free training kit deal

July 10 – Leeds United, who clung on to their Premier League status last season but have since lost star midfielder Kalvin Phillips to Manchester City in a £42 million deal, have signed Astonish as the club’s the Official Training Wear Partner for the 2022/23 campaign.

The one-season deal will see Astonish branding on all Leeds United training wear.

Astonish is a local firm that provides luxury personal care and household cleaning products – it is the UK’s only Vegan approved, Cruelty Free endorsed range of personal car and cleaning products. Perhaps this signals a new era for Leeds United’s fans who have a reputation as being one England’s least politically correct fan bases.

Astonish have been a Leeds partner for a number of years.

Howard Moss, Owner and CEO of Astonish said: “The Astonish brand are delighted to have extended our partnership with LUFC, including both men and women sides. Established just a mile from Leeds City Centre some 50yrs ago, our roots have always been firmly set within West Yorkshire and we are extremely proud of this!

No value was given for the sponsorship.

Paul Bell, Executive Director at Leeds United, added: “We pride ourselves on developing long term partnerships and we have now been working with Astonish for six years and everyone at the club is excited to continue building upon the special relationship we have already created with them.”
