Brazil’s Grêmio secures Esportes da Sorte deal ahead of Serie A start and Suarez’s arrival

March 3 – Brazilian online bookie Esportes da Sorte, has taken in the front of shirt sponsorship of Grêmio ahead of the club’s return to the Brasileiro which kicks off in April.

Esportes da Sorte is one of the fastest growing online gaming businesses in Brazil with sponsorships with eight clubs including ABC, América-RN, Bahia, Goiás, Novorizontino, Guarani-SP, Vila Nova-GO and Londrina.

The bookmaker also sponsors the Flamengo eSports team and has recently established a partnership with Copa São Paulo, Campeonato Paulista and Gaúcho Série A2.

The three-year deal is reportedly worth R$25 million ($4.8 million) annually and was described as Grêmio’s CEO, Márcio Ramos  as “decisive for the arrival” for the recent signing of Uruguayan star Luis Suárez.

Esportes da Sorte CEO, Darwin Henrique Filho, said: “Association with an institution of such glory and grandeur is extremely rewarding for our entire team. We will honor this partnership with several differentiated actions of experience and approach to the Grêmio supporters..
