Crystal Palace sell sleeve slot to Asian-focussed bookie Kaiyun Sports in one-season deal

May 31 – Crystal Palace have announced online betting business Kaiyun Sports as the club’s Official Sleeve Partner in a one-season deal for 2023/24.

The Asia focussed already holds sponsor partnerships with football clubs in England (Aston Villa), Spain and Italy. Kaiyun replaces Crystal Palace’s has previously has had betting brand W88 on the front of the club’s shirt.

The deal is first betting company sleeve sponsorship to be announced following the Premier League’s voluntary agreement to remove betting sponsorship from front of shirt positions.

Barry Webber, chief commercial officer at Crystal Palace said: “As Asia’s largest digital sports platform, Kaiyun has a strong and consistent reputation for delivering sports and entertainment options for users.

“We are looking forward to working together with Kaiyun Sports to create a safe and enjoyable experience for fans.”

No value was given for the deal.
