June 15 – Treble winners Manchester City will kick off the next Premier League season on Friday, August 11 at promoted Burnley – managed by their former captain Vincent Kompany.
Luton Town, another promoted team with the smallest capacity Premier League stadium of all time at under 10,500, play their first top-flight match since 1992 at Brighton a day later when last season’s runners-up Arsenal host Nottingham Forest.
The pick of the opening round fixtures will undoubtedly be Mauricio Pochettino’s first match as Chelsea manager at home to Liverpool on Sunday, 13 August.
