Ludogorets to donate 20% of Europa League gate receipts to charity

March 5 – Bulgarian champions Ludogorets will donate 20% of its ticket revenue to charity from the upcoming home quarter final match in the Europa League against Valencia in Sofia next week. The club has established a foundation ‘Ludogorets for Bulgaria’, which will carry our charity work in all spheres of Bulgarian society.

Members of ‘Ludogorets for Bulgaria’ will include celebrities in the sports and social circles of Bulgaria, regardless of their club affiliation. They will play a crucial role in the distribution of proceeds to ensure transparency.

PFC Ludogorets had previously organised a charity campaign during the matches in the group stage of the Europa League. The club donated 50 000 leva (€25,000) to the Neonatology Hospital ‘Hope’ in Sofia. The money was collected during the campaign taglined ‘Come to the game! Save the life of a baby’.

It is expected that the National stadium Vasil Levski, which has a capacity of 44,000, will be filled for the Valencia game. For the last round match against Lazio there were 35,000 spectators.

The most expensive tickets for the game are with price of €7.5.
