March 7 – Bulgaria’s Botev Plovdiv has unveiled a new set of pans for the building of the Hristo Botev stadium, where the club will play its home games. The stadium reconstruction should be completed in 2015.

The stadium will be built to UEFA’s Category 4 standards and will have 18,788 seats, 75% of which will be covered. The stadium will have 600 parking spaces for cars and 7 spaces for coaches.

“What we present today is radically different from what was shown to you two years ago. I hope this is the last option, but each subsequent plan we receive from the architects is more beautiful than the previous,” said club president July Popov.

“The supporters of Botev can be proud of the most beautiful stadium in Bulgaria, which will be the fourth category of the UEFA license and could be used to play semi-final games in Europa League. Three years ago we promised this and I hope we will could you welcome to the new facility in May 2015,” he said.
