Nottingham Forest’s Toffolo charged with 375 breaches of betting rules

July 13 – Nottingham Forest fullback Harry Toffolo has been charged by England’s Football Association for an alleged 375 breaches of its betting rules between January 2014 and March 2017.

At the time he was under contract at Norwich City during which time he had spells on loan at four other clubs.

In May, Brentford striker Ivan Toney was banned for eight months for breaching betting rules. Toney admitted to 262 breaches from a period between February 2017 and January 2021.

Toffolo joined Forest in the off-season in 2022 and made 19 appearances in the Premier League last season as the club survived a relegation battle to stay in the top flight.
