Joma moves deeper into Bulgaria picking up Levski from Puma

March 20 – Bulgaria’s Levski Sofia, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year, is switching its kit sponsor from Germanys Puma to Spain’s Joma for the start of its centenary season.

The contract between the two parties is not yet signed, but it will be for a period of two years, with an option to extend for a another two years. Levski declined to announce financial details of the deal.

Worldwide Joma provides equipment to Spain’s Valencia, Getafe, Oviedo, and Italian Fiorentina. In Bulgaria, the company is an official partner of four clubs – Cherno more, Beroe, Lokomotiv Sofia and Slavia.

“PFC Levski and world famous brand for sports equipment Joma reached an agreement and with the new jubilee season, the Blues will wear kits of the Spanish company. The agreement will likely be for two plus one years. The club and Joma jointly prepare surprises for Levski’s supporters,” said an official press releasel

“Globally Joma provides equipment for Spain’s leading teams Valencia, Getafe, Real Oviedo, Italian Fiorentina, Argentinian Estudiantes, and the national team of Honduras.”

Joma also provides clothing for the Bulgarian Olympic Committee and Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation.
