Kumho Tire treads new global path with AC Milan deal

July 19 – South Korean Kumho Tire has become a premium partner of AC Milan and the club’s new Official Tire Partner in what is described as a long-term partnership.

Kumho Tire said it is using AC Milan’s reputation for quality and its golobal appeal “to strengthen and diversify its marketing and investment in order to reach a greater customer base in key markets”.

“We are very pleased to form a premium partnership with AC Milan, a world-renowned football club that boasts a huge international fan base,” said Il-Taik Jung, CEO of Kumho Tire. “We will use this partnership to enhance our brand recognition globally and initiate a range of activities to position ourselves as a premium brand.”

No value was given for the deal which the partners said was founded on shared vision and principles, and a desire to deliver a premium branded product and experience.
