Hisense plugs in for another cycle of UEFA men’s national team competitions

September 4 – UEFA have announced a multi-year partnership with Hisense that will see the electronics manufacturer become a sponsor of its Men’s national team competitions. across the European continent. 

The deal, announced at the IFA technology fair in Berlin, will run through to 2026 and will cover the upcoming EURO 2024 in Germany.

Hisense was a sponsor of the 2016 and 2020 European Championships in France and England, and which saw Portugal and Italy crowned as victors over the hosts on both occasions.

UEFA marketing director Guy-Laurent Epstein said: “I am thrilled that Hisense is renewing its commitment to European football as an official partner of UEFA EURO 2024, which will be our third consecutive EURO together. Their technologies continue to help make football more accessible and enjoyable to fans worldwide.”

On top of the upcoming EURO 2024 competition, the contract will see Hisense sponsorship of the Euro 2024 qualifiers as well as the Finalissima, which pits the winners of the UEFA European championship and Conmebol’s Copa America against each other;.

In 2025, the deal will include the UEFA Nations League Finals as well as the U-21 European Championship. The contract will round off with the Euro qualifiers and the Futsal European Championship in 2026.
