September 29 – UEFA have announced German workwear brand Engelbert Strauss has renewed its partnership with both the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League for the 2024-27 club competition cycle.
This marks the second consecutive club cycle for the long-term partnership, with Strauss being partnered with the competitions since 2021.
For the next three seasons, the German company will benefit from advertising board exposure, stadium hospitality, exclusive on-site experiences at all matches each season in both competitions as well as branded content visibility across the competitions’ digital and social media platforms.
Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA marketing director, said: “UEFA is delighted to embark on this next chapter with Engelbert Strauss. The renewal symbolises a shared commitment to hard work, teamwork, ambition and excellence, so we couldn’t be more excited to have Strauss join us as we kick off a new era for the two competitions.”
The second round of the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League kicks off on October 5.
Henning Strauss, Engelbert Strauss CEO and creative director, said: “We have a brilliant partnership with UEFA, and we’re super excited to announce we’re extending it. This move strengthens Strauss’ position in European football. The UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League are magnets for real soccer fans. They’re a perfect showcase for Strauss, helping us present our brand internationally through their unrivalled matchday environments.”
No value was given for the deal. Englebert Strauss is also a sponsor of Euro 2024.
