Premier League swaps Panini for Fanatics for 2025/26 season

May 9 – Fanatics Collectibles will take over from Panini as the Premier League’s exclusive provider of trading cards, trading card games and stickers from June 2025.

No value was given for the multi-year deal that sees the Premier League return to Topps who were bought by Fanatics in January 2022. Topps held the Premier League license from 1994 to 2019 before Panini took over.

Panini renewed their license in 2021, with the contract ending with the 2024/25 season.

It is another big win for Fanatics Collectibles who via Topps replaced Panini as UEFA’s sticker partner for the 2024 and 2028 men’s Euros, as well as the 2025 women’s Euros and Nations League Finals through 2028.

“We are delighted to welcome Fanatics as the official sticker and trading card licensee of the Premier League from season 2025/26,” said Premier League chief commercial officer, Will Brass.

“They bring an outstanding track record and strong commitment to innovation, helping fans all over the world express their passion for the sports they love. Through this partnership, we will be able to create a truly memorable collectible experience for all.”

Fanatics has built a strong portfolio of football league and club licensing rights including the Bundesliga (since 2008), and Major League Soccer (since 2012).

The Fanatics Commerce business also holds e-commerce and licensed apparel partnerships with The FA and a number of Premier League clubs.

“We are incredibly excited to partner with the Premier League in this historic deal that we believe will put fans and collectors closer to the teams and players that they love,” said David Leiner, president of Fanatics Collectibles.  “At Fanatics Collectibles, we know and love the game, and look forward to building an element of unique storytelling through the lens of collecting.”
