Auction opened for Euro 2024 final ball

July 25 – The UEFA Euro 2024 match-winning ball is being auctioned by UEFA, with all proceeds going to the UEFA Foundation for Children.

The auction, launched at midday CET on 24 July, will continue until 20:00 CET on 4 August. Fans can participate by visiting online marketplace Catawiki.

Mikel Oyarzabal’s decisive goal on July 14 propelled Spain to their record fourth European Championship title, once again denying England at the final hurdle. The Spanish substitute has also signed the ball, increasing its value and appeal to collectors and fans alike.

The UEFA Foundation for Children, who will receive all from the auction, was established in 2015. The foundation aims to aid children and defend their rights through sport and football. It supports initiatives in health, education, access to sport, personal development, minority integration, and employability.

Since its inception, the foundation has invested €51 million in 500 projects across 135 countries, benefiting over 2.6 million children.
