August 22 – Premier League holders Manchester City have announced a new multi-year partnership with Corpay that will see the corporate payments company’s cross-border business become the club’s Official Foreign Exchange Partner.
Corpay’s Cross-Border business has growing roster of sports partners, which spans international football, golf, and tennis.
Kaitlyn Beale VP, City Football Group Global Partnership Sales, said: “As we continue to grow as a club globally, we do so with a commitment to innovate and improve as a business across our various services. As such, we are pleased to welcome Corpay, a market leader in corporate payments that will enhance our services and support our global growth.”
Corpay will support Manchester City’s international business through automated payment systems and foreign exchange services. In return, the Corpay brand will benefit from visibility across club digital channels.
No value or term was given for the deal.
Brad Loder, Chief Marketing Officer, Corpay Cross-Border Solutions, commented: “With our strong focus on growing the Corpay brand, as well as our corporate payments and currency risk management business globally, we are excited to partner with one of the Premier League’s most successful and historic football clubs, and wish them luck in the upcoming season.”
City cruised to a comfortable opening-day victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
As City prepare to host newly-promoted Ipswich at the Etihad this weekend, they are likely welcome Phil Foden, John Stones, Kyle Walker, and Rodri back into the starting lineup.
