AFC agrees regional deal for talabat covering new club competitions

September 12 – On-demand food and Q-commerce app talabat has become an Official Regional Partner of the AFC’s new club competition eco-system.

talabat will activate across the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan and Iraq markets in an initial one-season deal. The partnership covers the AFC the rebranded and expanded AFC Champions League Elite, the new-launch Women’s Champions League, and the Champions League Two.

Datuk Seri Windsor John, the AFC General Secretary, said:“Both the AFC and talabat are committed towards driving innovation and excellence and we thank them for underlining their confidence in Asian football, particularly as the AFC’s club competitions herald a new era of growth.

talabat launched in Kuwait in 2004 as an on-demand food and Q-commerce app for everyday deliveries and is now present in in eight countries across the region.

The app will target the wide reach of Asian club football within their key markets. The AFC’s Champions League Elite kicks off in its new league style format next week.
