Man City players dominate EA Sports Premier League player rankings

September 13 – EA Sports has unveiled the top 25 Premier League player ratings ahead of the release of their flagship FC25 game later this month.

Manchester City and Spain midfielder Rodri leads the pack as the highest-rated player in the entire game, alongside Erling Haaland who shares his 91 rating.

The champions complete the podium with 90-rated Kevin De Bruyne in third, despite being sidelined for the first half of last season.

Rounding out the top five are Liverpool duo Virgil Van Dijk and Mohamed Salah, who each retained their 89 ratings from the last game. Goalkeeper Alisson Becker joins his teammates as an 89-rated player, making him the Premier League’s top-rated goalkeeper, with Arsenal’s Martin Odegaard completing the 89 club thanks to a +2 upgrade from last time out.

Perhaps the biggest surprise was Premier League Player of the Year Phil Foden placing ninth, behind four of his teammates. The 24-year-old England international was the standout performer of City’s fourth consecutive league title, tallying 19 goals and 8 assists from midfield, but only earned an 88 rating.

The biggest overall upgrade was given to Cole Palmer, who soared from 67 rated to 85 rated after a breakout season for Chelsea. If he continues in the same vein, it won’t be long before he climbs into the top ten.

From a team perspective, Manchester City lead with eight players in the top 25, followed by Liverpool (6), Arsenal (5), Aston Villa (2), Manchester United (1), Spurs (1), Newcastle (1) and Chelsea (1).
