October 15 – The Aussie A-League has extended its official media data partnership with Stats Perform, which will see the addition of Opta Search and Opta Stream, as the league looks to unlock new sponsor inventory and deepen engagement for fans of its men’s and women’s competitions.
The extension will see Opta data continue to drive fan engagement across the league’s digital platforms, including the official website, app, and social media channels.
Opta Stream brings real-time, automated visuals with live stats and commentary, while Opta Search enables media teams to enhance coverage with comprehensive game insights.
The A-League said that these tools will be integrated into both the Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s and Ninja A-League Women’s competitions.
“Our leagues are rich in stories that Stats Perform and Opta make it easy for us to tell our fans, connecting them more deeply to our teams and players,” said Ned Negus, Chief Commercial Officer at the A-Leagues.
“By leveraging Opta’s real-time data, insights and products, our content team will be able to showcase key statistics, player performances and milestones in a visually stunning and informative manner, and our commercial teams are delighted with the additional high quality inventory created for our sponsors.”
The Men’s A-League will officially kick off this weekend, beginning with Friday night’s clash between Central Coast Mariners and Melbourne Victory in Gosford, New South Wales.
