Oshee signs up for Romanian Cup run

October 29 – Polish soft drinks company Oshee has become the official sponsor of the Romanian Cup for a period of five years.

No value for the deal was given.

“The Romanian Cup, a competition reinvented in 2022, by implementing a more attractive competitive system, receives a new member in its family. The competition, which brings together teams from all levels and from all corners of the country, will benefit from Oshee’s energy and expertise in supporting large-scale sporting events,” said Romanian FA (FRF) president Rаzvan Burleanu.

“Oshee is a Polish company, present in 55 countries on 6 continents and has always been closely connected with football. The company has collaborated with important European clubs such as Real Madrid or Borussia Dortmund, and is currently the official partner of LaLiga Santander in Poland.”

In order to promote the partnership and the competition, starting this autumn, Oshee isotonic drink labels will have a special graphic featuring players including: Darius Olaru (FCSB), Denis Alibec (Constanța Lighthouse), Alexandru Mitriță ( University of Craiova), Ciprian Deac (CFR Cluj), Cristian Săpunaru (FC Rapid 1923), and Alexandru Pop (Oțelul Galați).

Bogdan Lehman, Country Manager Oshee Romania, said that the fact that a second-tier team had won the Cup last season “was a reminder of our company’s journey, where we quickly grew to the level where we became respected rivals of multinational giants.
“Through this partnership, we will have the opportunity not only to demonstrate to the players competing in the Romanian Cup the benefits of our products for health and performance, but also to present our most popular products, isotonic functional drinks and vitamin water, to the spectators and the general public.”
