Online bookie K8 takes Atlético sponsorship for Asian region

November 5 – La Liga’s Atlético de Madrid have signed a two-year partnership agreement with online gaming brand K8 which will see it become the club’s Official Asian Betting Partner starting from 24/25 season.

Atlético de Madrid’s new partnership with K8 will bring the brand to fans across Asia through prominent digital branding at the team’s home ground, the Cívitas Metropolitano Stadium. The deal will only apply to the men’s first team, with no mention of the club’s women’s or youth divisions.

Across this season and the next, K8’s logo will appear on LED and Cam Carpet digital overlay systems, ensuring visibility for viewers across LALIGA’s Asian broadcasts.

K8 users will have the chance to gain exclusive access to money-can’t-buy experiences, including post-match meet-and-greets with Atlético players and tickets to matches. The partnership expects to strengthen Atlético’s presence in the Asian market, deepening fan engagement and providing ‘unique, direct interactions’ with the club.

Óscar Mayo, Atlético de Madrid COO Chief Operating Officer, stated about the partnership: “This alliance with K8 will allow us to get even closer to the big Atleti family in Asia. Thanks to this agreement, fans will be able to enjoy innovative experiences from their homes while watching our matches and feel Atlético de Madrid much closer to them.”

A K8 spokesperson commented: “With 11 LALIGA titles, Atletico de Madrid is one of the best clubs in Europe. We are thrilled to announce our partnership with such a premium football club full of traditions and passion. K8 is aiming to bring best in class entertainment and experience to millions of users and fans around the world. We are the best at what we do so this is a perfect partnership for us.”

Atletico Madrid currently sit in the oh-so familiar third position in the La Liga table, only one point behind city rivals Real Madrid but still ten points off top, held by FC Barcelona.

They travel to PSG on Wednesday in the UEFA Champions League before returning to Spain to play Mallorca in La Liga on Sunday.
