LFP partners with WSC to increase and monetise digital content output

November 5 – The Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) has entered a five-year partnership with WSC Sports to drive AI-powered content automation for Ligue 1 McDonald’s, Ligue 2 BKT, and the Trophée des Champions.

The partnership will streamline LFP’s content production, enabling rapid creation, management, and distribution of video content to expand global fan engagement and generate new revenue streams.

WSC Sports’ AI-driven platform will analyse every match in real-time, automating content creation across various formats and aspect ratios for LFP’s websites, apps, social channels, and international broadcast partners. This allows LFP to reach fans more effectively with tailored, data-driven content, boosting engagement through mobile and digital platforms.

Additionally, the partnership will digitise 20 years of archived Ligue 1 and 2 footage, making it accessible in formats suited to modern social and mobile platforms. This archival project aims to engage younger fans with historic moments adapted for vertical video.

For LFP, this collaboration with WSC Sports marks a step toward maximising digital assets, improving international visibility, and leveraging AI to offer consistent, high-quality content that deepens fan loyalty while increasing monetisation opportunities across digital and broadcast platforms.

“The LFP is opening a new chapter in its history as part of the strategic plan that transforms the perception of our championships, delivers an experience that meets and exceeds the expectations of existing fans and new audiences, and ensures our football remains culturally relevant,” said Ben Morel, CEO at LFP Media.

“Our digital content strategy is absolutely central to our broader objectives, we are therefore thrilled to partner with WSC Sports, a proven pioneer when it comes to AI-tailored content experiences. Their platform will propel our ability to produce and share more content on LFP channels and with our global broadcast partners for worldwide distribution.”

“This is a hugely significant partnership for WSC Sports and an exciting time to be joining forces with the LFP to help power their transformation strategy from a content perspective. The LFP clearly recognises the need to provide fans with the best possible digital content experience to meet their ever-growing demand across all platforms,” said Aviv Arnon, chief business development officer and co-founder, WSC Sports.

“We are delighted to be establishing AI-powered automated content creation that will significantly scale the production and distribution of video content for the league and its clubs. This will help unlock the potential of the LFP’s competitions by expanding content reach, growing fandom, and unlocking revenue opportunities,” Arnon finished.
